Dr. Julie Bost
Clinical Associate Professor and Program Coordinator
Department of Specialized Education Services at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro
Dr. Julie Irene Bost is a Clinical Associate Professor and Program Coordinator in the Department of Specialized Education Services at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Dr. Bost holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations along with multiple North Carolina educator licenses, and a National Board Certification in Exceptional Needs. Julie has twenty years of experience in the public-school setting, including teaching students with exceptionalities in both special education and general education classrooms in grades K-12. As a special education teacher, she co-taught math and language arts. During her time as a program administrator, she provided coaching and professional development on co-teaching and collaboration. Julie is the 2025 CEC President, former Research Liaison for the Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE), and a Past-President of NC-CEC.
