How should students with individual education programs (IEPs) participate in the multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS)? Can Tiers 2 and 3 interventions or best teaching practices used in general education be considered SDI? Should we include MTSS interventions within the IEP? Experts from the PROGRESS Center, a federally funded center, will define SDI and address common misconceptions about the design and delivery of SDI within MTSS. They will draw on current evidence, lessons learned from highly successful schools, and federal legislation, policy letters, and guidance. A live question and answer session following the webinar presentation will respond to participant questions and provide freely available resources to help you successfully implement SDI with MTSS.
Presented by: Tessie Bailey, Ph.D. and Amy Peterson, MA
