As America's schools are becoming increasing ethnically diverse, teachers need the knowledge, skills, and models to incorporate culturally responsive instruction (CRI) into their daily instruction. In this webinar, you will learn instructional strategies, information about inclusive educational materials, and strategies to differentiate between exceptionalities and cultural differences. After this webinar, you will be able to:
1) Identify 3-4 strategies for making the curriculum more culturally sensitive for diverse children.
2) Determine if differences for diverse learners are cultural differences or true exceptionalities.
3) Demonstrate the importance of culturally relevant instruction in promoting academic success for all children.
4) Evaluate commercial instructional materials for cultural sensitivity.
