Children with disabilities can have significant strengths and talents that also need developing. These "twice-exceptional" gifted children with disabilities are often confounding because they require strengths-based education that focuses on the development of their abilities while also mediating the impacts of their disabilities. This webinar explores twice-exceptional children from diverse viewpoints: their characteristics and needs, educational strategies, mental health supports, and collaboration approaches. Participants in this webinar will be introduced to practical, evidence-based strategies that allow them to advocate for and support these complex learners.
